The Office of Civil Rights Compliance and Investigation (CRCI) integrates the principles of equal employment, affirmative action, fairness and equality into all academic and employment activities and practices throughout Washington State University (WSU).
The Office of Civil Rights Compliance and Investigation provides training to students, employees and affiliates on topics such as ADA and accessibility, sex and gender based discrimination, Title IX, Clery Act and discrimination.
The Office of Civil Rights Compliance and Investigation reviews and investigates all complaints of discrimination, discriminatory harassment, sexual harassment, and sexual misconduct and advises faculty, staff, and students on appropriate management of such issues.
The Office of Civil Rights Compliance and Investigation provides technical assistance to WSU departments to help ensure compliance with state and federal employment opportunity and affirmative action mandates and assesses, develops and implements WSU’s affirmative action plan in compliance with state and federal regulations.
The office works closely with professionals in the field of law, human resources, and conflict resolution to address individual and university concerns, and act as an information resource for state and federal agencies.
