Victim Advocates

If you have experienced sex and gender based violence or know somebody who has, you may consider contacting a Victim Advocate.  A Victim Advocate is a person who has been trained to support victims of crimes, by providing emotional support and help navigating resources and the criminal justice system.  Advocacy agencies often provide counseling, 24-hour crisis lines, housing resources, and legal support for free or reduced costs.

In most instances, these care providers can speak to you confidentially about your concerns:
